Remembrance Sunday – Sun 11 November

We will be commemorating Remembrance Sunday on Armistice Day, with trains hauled by our World War One Baldwin 778.

The first train will depart earlier than usual, at 1020, in order to arrive at Stonehenge Works in time for the national minute of silence at 11am.

The 1430 departure will be met at Stonehenge Works by Rev Ian Woodward, who will carry out a dedication of our memorial to those sand workers who fell in the Great War, including our 'There but Not There' Tommy sculpture. We will also be joined at Stonehenge by members of the Royal British Legion Bikers.
